I've tried disabling Windows Firewall, IPv6 protocols, uninstalling/reinstalling printers, and other things with no success. The Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machines do not behave in this manner. I'm curious to try and find out why only on the Windows 10 systems does it behave this way where I need to restart the print spooler when going from Ethernet to wireless. I can also put the system back on Ethernet and everything shows up online like normal. If I restart the Print Spooler then they come back online. "get-printer | format-list" shows PrinterStatus as ServerOffline. While on Ethernet, if you undock, disable the Ethernet card, or unplug the Ethernet cable and the laptop hops onto the Wireless WPA, then it shows the printers as offline. If the system freshly boots when off Ethernet and connects via Wireless WPA, then printers are fine. If the system is connected via Ethernet, then the printers all work fine. Here is the strange behavior I see for only the Windows 10 machines. There are a small percentage of Windows 10 LTSB The majority of systems being MacOS and Windows 7, and Windows 8.1. One of the models is a HP LaserJet M830 to give a example. In our environment we have a few printers setup on a VM Print Server.
